Wall Mounted Ballet Barre

Enhance your dance studio with the Stagestep Ballet Barre System, featuring 6-foot natural Ash wood barres. Sealed with oil, these high-quality barres offer a natural look and a sensational feel to the touch, perfect for enhancing any dance practice.  These wall-mounted ballet barrs can be used in either single or double-wall-mounted setups.

Ballet barres can be installed at any height. We recommend installing the barres at a height of approximately 40-42 inches for adults and 30-32 inches for younger students. Choose from single or double-barre brackets, with double barres spaced 10 inches apart.  Please note that the brackets are only available in silver.

Please note that due to varying wall types and installation requirements, hardware is not included and should be locally sourced by an experienced installer. A secure installation ensures the barres can safely support warm-up exercises and stretching.

Each 6-foot barre is supported by steel brackets at both ends, with contiguous barres sharing a bracket. For example, a 30-foot barre setup (five 6-foot barres) requires six brackets.

The end of the barres which extend through the brackets can be beveled and oiled.

For secure installation, brackets can be mounted directly into cinder blocks. If mounting on the wallboard, consider attaching a horizontal wall panel to the studs (typically 16 inches apart) before securing the brackets. Install the barres at a height of approximately 40-42 inches for adults and 30-32 inches for younger students. Choose from single or double-barre brackets, with double barres spaced 10 inches apart.

If it is a cinder block wall, drill the right holes and use anchors to match for hex head bolts to support the brackets.

If it is a sheetrock wall, 7/8" or 1" plywood should be between the studs or screw onto the studs, with sheetrock on top and on the bottom.

Stagestep will offer a 3/4" thick custom-made "Mounting Board" for this purpose.

Stagestep will also offer a floor mounted bracket for barres which cannot be mounted directly onto the adjacent wall.
