Stagestep™’s  vented cove base should be installed after the installation of the dance floor surface. It is a two-part system, consisting of a white vented panel and the cove base. Ventilated floor systems vent moisture from below the floating subfloor. Sold in 78 3/4” long sections. Each section is 4” high with a 2” toe.

Product can be installed directly on a floating wood subfloor, stage or hardwood surface—temporarily, semi-permanently, or permanently—using top tape, Double-Faced Tape, 4″ Installation Tape, adhesive, or ReUseIt. Timestep must be removed from the pallet and stored in the vertical position immediately after receiving. It should always be unrolled or unraveled with outside/dance surface up. Never flip vinyl from side to side. Never grab or hold with one hand. Must be moved careful by multiple installers after acclimated to room temperature between 70° and 80°F. Timestep Black must be handled with extra care.

Sweep daily to remove coarse dirt. Clean weekly, using ProClean, a neutral detergent/degreaser that does not leave a residue. Stagestep™ offers a choice of non-slip products and FloorCare systems. For surface protection, we offer FloorShield Finish.
The ideal subfloor for Timestep is Springstep lV, Stagestep’s floating wood subfloor. Installation on concrete (or other rock-hard slabs) will not reduce shock. Installation on carpet can result in the floor “wrinkling” when working on it. Consult with Stagestep™ for the best results.
Do not use alcohol, ammonia, acetone, bleach, or solvents to clean surface. Consult with Stagestep™ prior to using any product not recommended. Direct exposure to sunlight can cause reduced life expectancy due to UV radiation. Change in temperature and humidity can negatively affect installation and non-slip characteristics.
